She was born the city of Angels along the shores of San Pedro Bay.
But to most this city of Angels is known as L...A
The Fates above have blessed her with a world that's full of charm.
And we pray to God above us please keep her safe from harm.
Her streets are filled with magic it is here that dreams are formed
Then shaped and fed and nurtured until the day that they are born
Her treasure's not gold but people of every nation and every stand
They have come to dear Los Angeles to live in the promised land!
Her climate is even tempered so mild so warm so grand
Here living is so delightful in this Eden known to man.
And if in times when folks are troubled when souls are racked in pain
Then we will turn and piece things together
And bring heaven to earth on L...A
